Abstract
The Hampshire County Museum Service, Winchester has in its care a collection and MSB catalogue from Lavin's Museum, Penzance. The catalogue title page MSB reads "A catalogue of Cornish Minerals with their names and localities sold at Lavin's Museum, Penzance" and is further annotated "The Willis Museum, Basingstoke". Tony Cross of the Curtis Museum, Alton seeks further information about Lavin and his Museum. see also Found section (no. 90)....
