Abstract
In GCG p. 455 we recorded an annotated copy of Wm. Babington's book *A New System of Minerology 1799' which has now been acquired by the City of 488 Plymouth Museum. We quoted the annotation and gave the name of the annotation as A. or H. Deck. Both John Thackray and Peter Embrey have written to say the initial letter of Deck's name was most likely a florid capital I and that the annotator is thus I(saiah) Deck who describes himself as 'Practical Chemist and Mineralogist of Trumpington Street, Cambridge' in his publications.
