Abstract

This paper presents electronically tunable lossless and lossy grounded inductance simulators based on voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA). The circuit structures use low component count consisting of only 1 VDGA and 1 grounded capacitor, without any resistor, suitable to implement into integrated circuit. The lossless inductance can be electronically tuned through trans-conductance gain of the VDGA. Additionally, for the lossy inductance simulator, inductance and resistance can be also independently adjusted by electronic method via trans-conductance gain of VDGA. The performances of proposed circuits are depicted by PSPICE simulations, they show good agreement with theory. Some application examples are introduced. The lossless and lossy inductance simulators have total power consumption approximately O.27mW, at±l.5V.
