Epidural block occasionally exhibits an atypical pattern of spread. Subdural block is rare but known complication of neuraxial block, occurring more frequently with epidural block. We are reporting a case that developed loss of consciousness following epidural block. Cause of this unconsciousness may be attributed to possible subdural deposition of local anesthetic agent.
