Abstract

This paper is to report a method and a result of loss analysis in rolling-piston type speed controlled rotary compressor. In this study, we have found that rotating speed in a revolution is considerably fluctuating in low speed runnig. There, in case of loss analysis based on indicator digram, revolutional angle must be found by measureing a speed fluctuation. As a result of loss analysis, we have found that ratio of loss based on volumetric efficiency is large in low speed running and that study of loss reduction in low speed running is important as the study of mechanical loss reduction in high speed running.
