Abstract
The objective of this work is to know the systems of asientos and factories well, analyzing a not very well-known facet of the Jewish origin banker Manuel Cortizos. Also, to analyze the enrichment possibilities that it generated the indirect management developed by the monarchy to get resources for the war, showing to the light the fraud possibilities before the scarce control of the Treasury. Elements facilitated by the favor of the king, and that verify the high position of a family with Jewish origin that bought positions with the power of the money, obtained habits of military orders, and even, a generation later, a nobiliary title.

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es conocer mejor los sistemas de asientos y factorías, profundizando de paso en una faceta poco conocida del banquero judeoconverso Manuel Cortizos. En España fueron también muchas las posibilidades ofrecidas por la guerra para que algunos sacaran partido y se enriquecieran suministrando a la monarquía los medios que con urgencia necesitaba, consiguiendo incluso una mejor posición social y honorífica, además de cargos de gestión. Y su familia, son bien conocidos, tanto por su poder y riqueza, como por sus orígenes y encumbramiento social, por lo que sólo dedicaremos unas pocas líneas a esta cuestión, ya que nuestro principal objetivo es desvelar las posibilidades de enriquecimiento, venales y de fraude, que este reclutamiento generó. También la casa Cortizos se encargó del abastecimiento de caballos para los ejércitos de Cataluña y Extremadura entre las décadas de 1640-60, además de suministrar el dinero necesario para la realización de otras levas, lo cual sin duda la enriqueció y encumbró hasta las primeras posiciones de la sociedad cortesana
