Abstract
En este artículo, mediante el método iconológico, se realiza una lectura de los motivos iconográficos, aparentemente inconexos y decorativos, que adornan el púlpito del Refectorio de la Cartuja de la Defensión, de Jerez, en los cuales se elogia una de las cualidades más características de la Orden, como es el silencio, y los beneficios que reporta al monje.
