This essay offers an analysis of the phantoms that appear in several plays by Itziar Pascual ( Fuga , El domador de sombras, Blue Mountain, La paz del crepusculo, Pere Lachaise, Despedida, Mascando ortigas y Variaciones sobre Rosa Parks ). There is a relationship between the presence of these spectral characters in theatre, the recovery of memory and the construction of personal and collective identity.
