Abstract

Professor of any foreign language is concerned first to know the type of difficulties faced by students in their environment in order to be prepared to deal with it. This article describes and classifies the transcendental difficulties (of grammar, pronunciation, etc.) of students in the Spanish department at the University of Baghdad. Also, the article tries to analyze the motivations of these difficulties and put a proposal that helps in solving it. This work has an analytical methodology that also serves in the description of the educational context. We must point out that the article is not a mere compilation of errors or a presentation of errors, but is an orientation of the state of the question and analysis of its causes and a method to solve.

INTRODUCCIÓN

El proceso del dominio y aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero es un proceso complicado; porque requiere una práctica y un repaso continuos, para avanzar fácilmente. Por lo menos, en muchos de los países árabes donde el español se enseña como lengua extranjera (E/LE); ya que los profesores de estos países observan y registran en sus trabajos y artículos ciertos tipos de dificultades. Este artículo pone a nuestro conocimiento las problemáticas y principales dificultades que enfrentan los discípulos del español en el único centro académico en Iraq que enseña la lengua española. Estamos insistiendo en que la idea principal de este artículo ha surgido de una preocupación personal y profesional sobre la importancia de la enseñanza del español en nuestro país; con el fin de buscar herramientas para un mejor nivel de todos los estudiantes de español en la Universidad de Bagdad
