Abstract

Los Angeles County, where public policies are often seen as a national barometer based on its status as the country's largest county government, is engaged in an ambitious effort to address social needs within its integrated behavioral health and primary care service model. Leaders of the initiative hope to demonstrate that the primary care clinic serves as the ideal setting for achieving the results they seek.
