Abstract

Complex challenges in restorative dentistry are those that involve fulfilling both masticatory and esthetic function like restoring a premolar. While different modalities of prosthetic options like implants, conventional and resin-bonded fixed partial dentures, a clear vision of the completed restoration is mandatory before starting any construction work. Tooth migration into partial edentulous spaces reduces available pontic space, making it more difficult to restore aesthetics. We present a case of a young male patient who presented with such a clinical situation. A unique design of a loop connector was devised to fulfil the treatment objectives. The patient was happy and expressed his satisfaction with the design of the partial denture.
