Abstract

The University of Wyoming saw a bit of a rocky road toward growth in enrollment and student retention after officials decided to focus on student success in 2013. Two years later, the university had one of its largest incoming freshman classes ever, followed by a significant drop in 2016. However, the enrollment management office rebounded in 2017 with the largest incoming enrollment in the history of the university, up 13 percent from the prior year. The university also had a record‐breaking number of graduates in 2017, up 5 percent from the year before.
