Abstract

Purpose: In a previous cross-sectional study, we found that receptivity to anti-tobacco ads, receptivity to pro-tobacco ads, stress, having friends who smoke, and living with a father who smokes were all predictive of intention to smoke in non-smoking adolescents. Our current goal was to evaluate how well these factors might predict actual smoking.
