Abstract
We study the infrared behavior of the color-singlet quark form factor in perturbative QCD. We express the nonleading fourth-order contributions in terms of an infrared anomalous dimension, which characterizes the renormalization-group equation describing the long-distance behavior of the form factor. We discuss the important features of this function and comment on its behavior at high energy.
