Abstract

Background: Peritoneal dissemination of gastric cancer represents a disease with no surgical therapeutic options. Cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and Hyperthermic IntraPEritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) can offer a chance for longer survival compared to chemotherapy. The aim of this study is to present our experience with a focus on long term survival in preoperative clinical Stage III and IV gastric cancer.
