Abstract

Introduction: Although total removal is an important goal in acoustic neuroma surgery, sometimes a subtotal resection is done in order to preserve facial function or, more rarely, hearing. We followed 70 patients after subtotal resections without further treatment to judge the growth rate of tumor remnants.
