Abstract
The oxidation behavior of the Ni-5Al coating produced by high-velocity oxygen-fuel on the Fe-Cr alloy was investigated at 650 ℃ in air containing 20% water vapor. The oxidation kinetics of the Ni-5Al coating were establish by classical oxidation theory for 8000 h. According to the oxidation kinetic data, we calculated the time of breakaway oxidation occurred and compared between experimental measurement and model calculation of internal oxidation. And then the correlation between oxidation depth and oxidation time was plotted according to the measurement and model calculation.
