Abstract

Objective: Most cavernous sinus meningiomas (CSMs) not only cause severe cranial nerve (CN) neuropathy, but also carry the high risk of occluding the internal carotid artery. The treatments for CSM are difficult and still controversial. We report our experience with the pretemporal transcavernous approach for resection of CSMs.
