Abstract

Background: Delayed cord clamping (DCC) decreases mortality (Fogarty AJOG 2018) and improves transfusion benefit in preterm infants. Improvements in motor functions is shown in term infants, especially boys, at 4 years in a low-risk, high-income population (Andersson, JAMA Pediatrics 2015).
