Abstract

The present article describes the results of investigation of frequency ageing of several the most widely used quartz crystal unit types (designs). These investigations were carried out both under operating and non operating conditions and under different temperatures. It is shown that the 10°C variation only of the ambient temperature increases the frequency ageing by 1.5-2 times. The influence of the drive level and some other factors on the frequency ageing is also mentioned in the article.
