Abstract
Abstract— Various interference absorption filters, high pass cutoff filters as well as a half mirror exhibit substantial long term delayed luminescence with halflives of approximately 0.5 s. Kinetics cannot be assigned to a specific order; the fluence response curves are complex and do not allow further analysis. The effect described might interfere with measurements of low light signals, particularly of biological samples.
