Abstract

The design and construction of long span prestressed concrete folded plate structures are presented herein. The economics of such design is indicated by including actual construction costs of four roof structures. A simplified design procedure is outlined and a typical case presented. Field experience with construction methods utilized and recommendations for field inspections are included based on the authors' observations.
