Abstract

The schematics on the front describes a scene in which yeast cells are self-aligned on the folded area of the creased hydrogel film. The optical microscope image of film at the background shows long-range ordered crease formation, which was achieved by engineering stepwise evolution of crease patterns on hydrogels that Tae Soup Shim and co-workers report in article number 2001551.
