Abstract

This study examines how long COVID, chronic conditions, and work outcomes affect the general workforce. It examines the prevalence of long COVID and its associations with chronic conditions, and other sociodemographic characteristics using 2022 National Health Interview Survey data. Long COVID affected work attendance and disability risk, especially in those with mental health issues, angina, stroke, cancer, diabetes, chronic lung conditions, and musculoskeletal conditions. This study reveals the relationships between long COVID, chronic conditions, and work outcomes.
