Abstract

The objective of this work is to study the processing of educational information using logits. The one-parameter Rasch model is used as a basis for test data simple processing. We consider the statistics on a group of students and on different groups. Based on the test results, we consider two situations and two correlations. The first correlation is between grades and knowledge. The second one is grade dependence on the question difficulty. Two parameters are evaluated: the knowledge level and the question difficulty. We describe each situation in a diagram form. The model parameters are discussed. Formulas for calculation are given. The paper shows a mechanism for analyzing the results and how qualimetric evaluations are connected with the real knowledge level and test complexity.
