Abstract
Neutrals and phase wires break of the 380 V overhead line is a widespread type of damage in electrical networks. As information parameters, the tension of neutral wire phases and tension of the zero sequence measured at the end of a radial overhead line are used to create the protection from wire breakage. The results of the analysis of change in phase tension and tension of the zero sequence at various operating modes of the 380 V electrical network are given in the article. The logical signs of identification of neutral and phase wires breaks in an OHL are created. The information parameters values used for the creation of protection device are defined. Analysing the results of the operation of a protection device, 34 operating modes of an electrical network are considered. They include the following: neutral and phase wires breaks, single-phase short circuits of the torn-off wires on the earth, various options of short circuits, etc.
