Abstract

Three logic gates based on the one-way edge states in gyromagnetic photonic crystal (GPC) are proposed and analyzed theoretically. The frequency range of the one-way transmission of waveguide is obtained with Finite Element Method (FEM). The relationships between the performance parameters and the structure parameters are investigated. To estimate whether the logic gates are robust, the transmission efficiencies of logic gates with an obstacle in different positions are calculated. Simulation results show that a high contrast ratio (CR) and strong robustness can be obtained. This work is expected to provide guidance to the design of logic gate with high performance.
