Abstract
This article aims to analyse the conflict that takes place in Vaca Muerta, in Neuquén, Argentina, related to the extraction of hydrocarbons by the fracking technique. It focuses on Lof Campo Maripé, one of the communities most affected by fracking, where the extractions are carried out without their consent, and highlights the communities’ land claim through the exercise of the right to protest.
