Abstract

Abstract This study examined the relationship of locus of control and field independence-dependence to the moral judgment of 88 undergraduates. Singly and conjointly, locus of control and field independence-dependence were found to predict students' levels of moral judgment. Externally controlled, field dependent students demonstrated lowest levels of moral judgment, while internally controlled, field independent students demonstrated highest levels. No link was found between sex of students and levels of moral judgment.
