Location Model of Agricultural Product Distribution Center

Abstract

China is one of the biggest countries, and the agriculture plays a very important role in the development of national economy. The bottleneck of agricultural development has been transferred from manufacturing to the circulation of commodities, which makes outstanding problems of the low level and high cost in logistic distribution of agricultural products. Developing logistic distribution of agricultural products would be the key to improve international competitive ability of Chinese agricultural products, to promote the development of Chinese agriculture, and to increase the income of Chinese peasants. Suitable location for logistic distribution center may improve the efficiency and reduce the cost, therefore, it has great theoretical significance and practical value to make deep research on location selecting for logistic distribution center of agricultural products. On the point of view of logistic enterprise of agricultural products, the essay focuses on the problem of selecting location for logistic distribution center of agricultural products, and gives economic analysis of constructing and operating of logistic distribution center of agricultural products. It concludes the location selecting of the center into the problem of minimum cost, which is the optimizing problem of finding solution for making lowest logistic cost, by establishing a model of optimizing location with lowest cost and adopting the method of blend integer planning to evaluate the model.
