Abstract

In this study, a method that predicts the location of the target source by using multiple TDOA and AOA measurements instead of single TDOA and AOA measurements is proposed in order to increase the accuracy of locating using two measuring stations. The estimation performance of this method, which was proposed with detailed simulations, was analyzed according to different measurement numbers and different noise levels on the measurements. As expected, this formulation, which can perform position estimation using multiple TDOA and AOA measurements, has been shown to perform position estimation with a much lower position error than the single TDOA and AOA measurement method.
