Abstract

Passage from the nonmagnetic to the magnetic regime in superconducting alloys is treated on a localized spin fluctuation model. A single phenomenological parameter, the spin fluctuation rate, characterizes both the degree of impurity magnetization and the effect of alloying on superconductivity. The results agree with previous treatments in both the nonmagnetic and magnetic limits.
