Abstract

Abstract In this paper, we study the localization properties of the long-range correlated disordered double chains with interchain correlation and magnetic correlation. By investigating the behavior of the normalized localization length of eigenstates, we find out that the mobility edge used to separate the localized and extended states is replaced by a continuous band of peculiar localized states under some special parameters. As part of their localization behavior is similar to that of extended states, and part of them is similar to that of usual localized states, these peculiar eigenstates are intermediate between the extended states and the usual localized states, which may be considered as the semi-localized states.
