Abstract

Background: Intramuscular BTX-Ainjectionisthefirst-linetreatmentfor Cervicaldystonia(CD).Toachievea favorable outcome of BTX-A injection, dystonic muscles need precisely localizing. 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/ computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) combines anatomic localiza- tion with functional imaging. However, values of PET/CT to identify dystonic muscles remain unknown.
