Abstract
Background: Early recurrence following hepatectomy for patients with colorectal liver metastases (CLM) is associated with worse survival. However, it is unclear whether local therapy improves outcomes. We hypothesized that local therapy benefits patients with recurrence following hepatectomy for CLM, regardless of timing of recurrent disease.
