Abstract

This technical letter investigates the local synchronization for complex dynamical networks with switching coupling matrices and time delays. The time delays include discrete time delay and distributed time delay. The outer-coupling matrices in the considered complex networks are assumed to vary with a Markov process taking finite values. Based on a novel Lyapunov function and complete square method, a criteria is obtained to guarantee the local synchronization for complex networks. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of our proposed methods.
