Abstract
We discuss the consequence of local duality for elasticscattering, and derive a model-independent equation betweenstructure functions at x ∼ 1 and elastic electromagnetic formfactors. Then the electromagnetic form factors of proton arediscussed using the quark-hadron duality theory. We also debatethe form factor of proton in a bound state. It may be an effectiveapproach to study the form factor of proton in media.
