Abstract

Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) was used to measure local pH in the thin water film located at the mineral-Rahnella aquatilis RA1/air interface. The method allowed differentiating acidification kinetics in conditions of natural soils and sediments where water can form film around mineral.
