Abstract
A miniaturized Hall probe has been used to obtain hysteresis curves for several sputtered magnetic multilayers. The sensor is mounted on the edge of the sample and the Hall signal is detected using an ac technique. This measurement system provides a very convenient way of comparing the magneto-transport properties of thin films with their hysteresis cycles.
