Abstract

AbstractIn this study, the relationship between the architectural space renewal design and the regional culture is based on the report of “Ma’an Town” in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Using the philosophical thought derived locally, through the method of bibliography and field investigation, briefly analyze the characteristics of the architectural space of the provincial hotel in Hohhot. From the perspective of nomadic culture, with culture as the core, through the interpretation of nomadic civilization and nomadic culture, the relationship between nomadic culture and architectural space is considered. In terms of spatial form, the natural outlook, humanistic outlook, and humanistic outlook embodied in nomadic culture is discussed. Daily ethnic characteristic activities, production and lifestyle, religious beliefs, and other aspects just try to solve the design methods of provincial cultural hotel buildings to achieve the purpose of cultural heritage and space regeneration.KeywordsLocalityNomadic cultureHotel spaceBuilding renewal
