Abstract
Repositioning of the lobule in setback otoplasty is not usually achieved by creation of the antihelical fold alone. A Y-V axially-oriented advancement of the posterior skin of the lobule is a simple and effective technique to create a smooth, uninterrupted helical rim to the bottom of the ear. It may be used with any of the traditional setback otoplasty procedures.
