Abstract
• Characterization of praziquantel solid lipid nanoparticles was done. • Loading of praziquantel within solid lipid nanoparticles improve its effect against the invasive and juvenile of S.mansoni . • This improvement was obvious by significant reduction in worm burden, intestinal egg count and hepatic granuloma size and number. • Marked changes in tegument by scanning electron microscopy were also evident.
