Abstract

It is most reasonable to use electric screw pumping units (SPU) for oil production in harsh environments. For efficient operation of SPU the authors propose to insert the original reducer on the base of flat-conic precession transmission so as to ensure efficient SPU operation. However, the falling rotational speed of the pump screw boosts the torque in friction pair of rotor and pump holder. The paper dwells upon the specified computer simulation method for calculating the load on multipair contact zones of operating parts of the screw pump and screw down-hole motors. This method allows to determine the maximum permissible diametrical tightness of worn-out operating parts, a value at which the tightness of operating chambers (representing the operability of the pump and motor) is no longer guaranteed.
