Abstract
The term "IoT" refers to the embedded objects (things) that have Internet connectivity and can communicate with other objects, services, and people on a worldwide platform. Wireless sensor network (WSN) is progressively getting the forefront basic network of the internet of things (IoT). And due to the fact that IoT become integrate with our day-to-day activities, which means WSN required to serve many applications at the same time and a massive volume of data must be processed, therefore, using WSN multi-sink is crucial. One of the big challenges in multi-sink wireless sensor networks is the congestion problem in sink nodes which reduce the effectiveness of data collecting and processing in sink nodes. Many studies have been published in an attempt to prevent this problem; this paper summarizes what has been previously explored and accomplished in the area of multi-sink load balancing.
