Abstract
The case reported is a transverse colon cancer subtly seen on a plain abdominal radiography. This case highlights the importance of correct interpretation of all the findings present on plain radiography in patients seen in emergency departments. On the one hand, it may avoid wasting time and money on “non-urgent” patients, and on the other, it may indicate a preferential management programme of patients who require it.
