Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the data analysis of the experiences of individuals who immigrated to our country in classroom environments from the point of view of teachers. Formal education in our country is carried out in closed places called classrooms in schools. The classroom is a special area created for the realization of educational goals in schools. Only Turkish citizens do not receive education within our educational structure. In addition to Turkish citizens, foreign students are also studying. Many factors, such as education management policies, the political and economic environment, the increase in anti-immigrant sentiment, demographic change, security concerns, although slow and limited in our country, have made it necessary for foreign nationals to be integrated into the education system as soon as possible. Due to the rapid increase in the number of foreign nationals, especially in large cities, every day, there is almost no class without foreign students in its class. In order to determine the participants in this research, the requirement of having a foreign student in the classroom was taken as a criterion. Teachers who do not have foreign students in their classes have been excluded from the research stages. This research was conducted in accordance with the opinions of 8 classroom teachers with at least 5 years of experience, including 4 women and 4 men who were voluntarily selected to work in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul province during the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The participating teachers of this research were selected by means of easy sampling method. The purpose of choosing the convenience sampling method is that the time of the semester project study is limited and there is an opportunity to reach the participants easily. Criterion sampling method was also used in this research. Because, in order to be a participant of the research, the requirement of being a teacher with a foreign student in his class was sought. In the research, the data were obtained by interview technique of qualitative research method. In order to realize the objectives of the research, some questions were asked to the participating teachers. A number of findings were reached by analyzing the data obtained in accordance with the answers given by the participating teachers to the questions posed.
