Abstract
Ken Mojfatt is Associate Professor and Graduate Programme Director in the School of Social Work, York University, Toronto. He is the author of A. Poetics of Social Work: Personal Agency and Social Transformation in Canada 1920-1939, Toronto, University of Toronto Press (2001). Allan Irving is a Professor in the Centre for Social Work Education at Widener University in the Philadelphia area. He taught in the Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto from 1984 to 2000. He is the co-editor (with Adrienne Chambona and Laura Epstein) of Reading Foucault for Social Work, New York, Columbia University Press (1999) and the author of Brock Chisholm: Doctor to the World, Toronto, Fitzhenry and Whiteside (1998).
