As noted in the citation “she has made numerous important contributions to multiple streams of public administration and political science literature. Her research on accountability has been particularly important in the development of contemporary thinking about the control of public organizations, and the complex patterns of interaction involved in contemporary accountability. She has also made signifi cant contributions to research on public sector reform, government contracting, and the role of policy networks in service delivery. ... Romzek has authored or co-authored three books and several dozen articles and book chapters.
