Abstract

Introduction: Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy with orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) is effective treatment for perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA). Although visible common bile duct (CBD) involvement is an exclusion, patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and microscopic CBD involvement detected by frozen section or endoscopic brushings prior to neoadjuvant therapy have undergone pancreatoduodenectomy (PD) or planned en-bloc hepatopancreatoduodenectomy (HPD) during OLT.
