Abstract

Background: LSPS has been correlated with portal hypertension (mPH), EV and risk of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in cirrhotic patients. The response to antiviral therapy with DAA reduces but does not eliminate the risk of HCC in HBV and HCV-related cirrhosis.
